Stoneleigh Abbey - Wedding Venue in Warwickshire
The Abbey was founded in 1154 and has gradually been expanded in 1603, 1808 and much later in 1996 after the ownership moved to 'English Heritage'. It has a very rich history, including a visit by Queen Victoria and Prince Albert, and has links with the Jane Austen family. The facilities that are available for weddings are second to none. The Abbey is licensed for Civil Wedding Ceremonies and offers a very flexible service.
Particular areas to take note of for your wedding include The Saloon, The Gilt Room, The Orangery and Conservatory and finally the Gothic Style Banquetting Hall. Although it is a much-used description, this venue really is a place where your families and friends will help remember your wedding day for many years to come. Here are a few photographs of the venue that I took at a wedding recently.
