The original wooden motte-and-baliey Castle was re-built in stone in the 12th century, on a bend on the River Avon. Over the following centuries the Castle was fortified and extended, and then later converted to a country house in the 17th Century. The Castle has beautiful grounds, carefully tended by the grounds staff, and has sweeping views of the Warwickshire countryside. You may even see peacocks roaming the grounds.
The wedding ceremony takes place in the surroundings of the exquisite State Dinning Room. After the service, guests are invited to the Conservatory terrarce where they will absorb this magnificent medieval venue. With the wedding breakfast hosted in the Great Hall looked down on by coats of armour and other artifacts.
Your guests will be swept off their feet when they first walk into this wedding venue, and this will stay in their memories for many years to come.
